I just returned from the UK - having spent a couple of days in London before heading off to Yorkshire and the Cotswolds. Immediately on my return, I was plein air painting for a week at an event... Finally, I got back to my travel photos and chose this one just for fun. This Day, I was standing in Trafalgar Square watching as the taxi's began to move curiously. The bagpipe player picked up his pipes and played. Later, I came to understand that the taxi drivers were demonstrating at Trafalgar Square and all traffic came to a halt! I had to walk back to the hotel with the help of my GPS and frantic calls from my husband! Good day in the National Gallery and learning my way around London on my own.
