I took a quick shot from the car as we approached Ouray, Colorado this summer.  Late afternoon light filled the valley and mountain tops dramatically revealing contours not otherwise believable.  Actually, I took about 500 photos on that evening ride over the San Juan mountains.  If you haven't been here before, you simply must plan to visit soon.   Now the problem is choosing which photos to use to stimulate my memory of this fabulous drive.
