The Clarks Fork River descends from the mountains near Butte Montana and winds its way westward across beautiful ranch lands gaining in size rapidly. If you travel west on I-90 from Butte you will cross this wonderful river over rand over on you way toward its confluence with the Blackfoot River and Missoula. This is one of those crossings. When we enter Clarks' Fork River territory, we know we are nearly home once again.
